The Role
The placement offers a full industrial experience and great professional development schemes.
Work with an amazing team who are encouraging both professionally and privately. J.N Bentley has a culture of involving every individuals in all work and makes you feel not only wanted but needed. No matter your skill set the team works together to make sure you excel at what you're best at.
I was assigned to a new project and I don't think the manager was that aware of the scheme and was always too busy to spend time guiding and supporting. However with the Development Plan it's easier to involve the manager and easier to work together in achieving a set of goal.
At the start I felt I wasn't doing enough. However as time passed and as I gained a better understanding I was involved increasingly.
A good amount, not overwhelmingly burdening. Opportunities to try new things and offer service appear on a daily basis.
I have found the placement very opportunistic. It has had a massive impact on my development and maturity. The huge gap from University to working was/is still overwhelming but also something to work toward. The experience and understanding gained about actual work in industry is something J.N Bentley should take special pride in.

Great
As I mentioned other offices are more familiar with the scheme and requirements of a placement student than others
