The Role
Although I did not always enjoy the work I was doing I really enjoyed working with the people at PwC and I made some really good friends.
I always felt valued by my colleagues.
This tended to vary a great deal depending on the supervisor, however I did find that if I ever I had a question people were always willing to help as long as I asked.
This varied hugely due to the mixture of days spent working at the clients site, studying at home for exams and also at college. On average most of my days were relatively busy.
I feel that I was given the right level of responsibility throughout my placement.
So far I have been able to transfer many of the skills that I learnt on my placement to my final year studies, for example time management and in addition to this I have been able to relate some of the topics studied whilst working towards the ICAEW exams to my final year modules.
The Company
The general office atmosphere was always upbeat and there always seemed to be some sort of social activity organised.
Subsidised Canteen
