The Role
Loved everything about IBM, especially having a professional development manager who made sure you got the most out of your year.
Most my colleagues did not know I was a student until I was leaving, I had a lot of responsibility and felt very valued.
I found it hard moving away for the first time but I easily got through the year because I had fantastic managers who were really understanding.
I was always very busy but I got to be involved in a lot of projects not directly linked to my job. I would not change anything about my year.
I got a lot of responsibility but always had guidance when needed.
We got to take part in a lot of education and I find it has been very useful.
The Company
Our office was quiet but we had a lot of other students based at North Harbour so we could meet up when we had a break.
Foundation organised everything, we had 3 month reviews and also had managers we could go to if we needed anything.
We got to take part in a lot of education with general IBMers.

Working from home
I really hope I get a graduate job with IBM. I would love to work for them again!
The Culture
We had a fantastic year, it was still like being a student but being paid!
Portsmouth was quite cheap.
We went out at least once a week and always had a great time!
