  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I really enjoyed this insight week because they made sure we were all exposed to all divisions in the small space of time we had. Every speaker was able to answer all questions in effective ways and this will be forever beneficial.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Extremely well structured! Every timing was followed so precise and this meant that we got the most of everything. The organisation was particularly impressive and although the schedule was full nothing was every seemed rushed.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Although the competition was clear the overal atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxed. This is one my favourite aspects of Barclays as they carry a very casual astrologers between colleagues and this created a protege atmosphere. Everyone I met had a drive and motivation in their job and their future.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • To a great extent as they saw our potential and made sure we saw it too. At no point were we left unaware of what’s going on or on who to all to because they all invested their time to us and never made it seem like it was wasted. We learnt so many techniques which would develop us but also our potential roles within Barclays.

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • Extremely value late as for me I went in not having an idea of where I want to go. This program showed me the different avenues I could go down and what traits are more favourable in these divisions. It gave me more understanding and direction as to where I should invest more research into.
