About You
This was an extremely enjoyable week, there were many sessions which involved a lot of teamwork and it was great fun to meet people with very interesting backgrounds. Barclays also organised an interactive team building session which was brilliant, very amusing but also insightful.
I felt very valued during the week. Everyone who worked at Barclays appreciated our efforts to make it into such a competitive programme and it was great to feel like that.
I felt I was guided through the programme and we were supported in the activities we took part in.
There were many important skills which I gained from this week. Learning how to network well, follow up on meeting people etc. As well as more analytical and interpersonal skills which can help me in my career.
The Company
The insight was very well structured, with lots of activities to do constantly and everyone knew what they were meant to be doing all the time.
It was positive and lively. We had a great group where everyone was so friendly. The atmosphere between the employees at Barclays was also very friendly.
The company invested in me a lot and I am very grateful for that. Through the sessions we had and networking opportunities I felt I was greatly invested in.
The analyst and senior members of the bank were all very helpful in giving their insights on how their days pan out. It helped me understand their work, roles and work-life balance.
There is not better way to understand a companies culture than being part of this spring week. It is wonderful and this week was so useful to help me see it first hand.
It was very useful, as it helped me see what occurs in a bank and how people find their job.
Everything Else
I was kindly paid a certain amount to cover my expenses for the week.
There were constant networking opportunities over the week and I met with employees outside of the week
They were very useful, perhaps more banking representatives would have been better, but apart from that it was great to meet people who work there.
Yes we had a talk on this at the start of the week, perhaps a bit more would have been useful too.
Yes, 100%. I met so many wonderful people and it was great to network and learn from so many professionals in this industry. Barclays is also a wonderful place to be a part of.
