About You
I really enjoyed my time at Barclays. It's an invaluable learning experience for me. I met plenty of amazing people and gained a lot of insights into banking and markets. The entire program is well structured and supported with so many activities and networking opportunities.
All the representative I met are very supportive and we can feel that they actually wanted to know about us, which made me feel highly valued.
I receive a lot of support throughout the whole program, from HRs and all business representative. During case studies, business reps at each table especially gave us a lot of guidance and addressed all of the questions we got.
My course is not directly linked to finance, but I believe the team building, learning and public speaking I honed during the week is highly transferable in my studies.
The Company
It's very structured. The first day is introduction day. We got the chance to know about our peers and also had networking dinner to chat with senior managers. And the second and the third day were banking and markets day respectively with many case studies, trading game and speed networking.
The general atmosphere was great. The spring cohort was very diverse and everyone was very engaging and driven. Employees also managed to make the atmosphere very cohesive.
I feel firm put in a lot of effort. Every session is very insightful and well-planned. Every question we asked was well addressed.
I got many opportunities to talk with employees from graduate analysts who just got onboard to senior managers and learnt a lot about their day to day jobs and experiences.
I really appreciate the supportive and inclusive culture at Barclays. When I talked to employees, they told me a lot about Barclays unique culture and how the culture apply to their day to day jobs and help their growth.
Very valuable. I gained a thorough understanding of each groups inside IBD and markets which definitely helped me decide my future career. After four days, most of us knows about what division fits ourselves.
