About You
Very enjoying experience getting a high level overview of the Front Office.
Everyone at the firm was really helpful and happy to answer any questions. In addition, the guidance for the formal assessments was more than adequate.
The foundations I have built during this week form a solid base from which I can grow. The week has enabled me to learn and understand the basics of the business, which I can then extend through personally following the markets/industry and in further internship programmes.
The Company
The first day included a general introduction with team building exercises. After this there was a full day covering Banking and another covering Sales (both included Case Studies).
Friendly Collaborative
At such an early insight level I think we were given a great insight into the bank however I don’t think that anything can substitute actually working in a role: securing a summer internship is a the perfect opportunity to experience this.
With lots of opportunities to network, it was very clear to see the firms flat and friendly culture.
The days focussed on banking and markets were very informative.
Everything Else
There were lots of opportunities to network with employees, from speed networking lunches and sessions to specially organised evenings.
Throughout the whole week there were opportunities to network with speakers. In addition, specific speed networking events were arranged for banking and markets respectively, providing more than enough opportunities to gain insight from employees.
The firm strongly supports employees to get involved in initiatives, both within and outside the bank, as well as sporting clubs and societies.
Highly recommended
