About You
A thoroughly enjoyable and educational week. The programme had lots of varied activities available from finance markets talks to direct Q&A with heads of divisions etc. This was also alongside regular group work and fun activities provided.
Very much. Everyone at Barclays, whether it be the culture and values of the company or just the people, everyone was always incredibly friendly and open to discussions and chit chat. This ranged from Graduates right up to CEO's of divisions, these interactions give you a positive outlook on your time and consequently the company.
Constant support from all levels. Whether it be from those who ran the programme to those who partook, everyone was friendly and offered their help or services whenever they could.
Overall for me it was a hugely beneficial, to get an insight into one of the worlds largest firms and not only have their key business people come and talk to us but also give us advice was great.
The Company
A well planned out week, perhaps we could have seen our schedule in advance rather than on the day. Also some networking events could have been hosted in the evenings but other than that no complaints.
Brilliant. Barlcays respects and welcomes young university students into its premises with open arms and helps to create a sense of community and feel a part of the company within the week.
Giving me the chance to come here for the week is a huge gamble for Barclays so it shows their trust in me from such an early stage in my academic career is a huge motivational boost.
The talks and Q&A's provided gave me as much as understanding as one could get without being a full time employee.

Everything Else
I would have done this week for free, so let alone being paid and reimbursed for it.
Good in-house networking events with graduates but no evening events with managers etc.
see previous answer.
My graduate work shadow provided me with the answer to this rather than the programme.
100% without question.
