About You
I really enjoyed the whole week, I had the opportunity to work with amazing people and get real insight and feedback from Barclays’ top employees and graduates which combined with the many insight into technology resulted in a good picture of the technology sector of the company
Throughout the whole week is often remarked the fact that we got into the spring week and therefore we are very fortunate and on an “easy” path to get a job at Barclays if we want to one day
A lot, you could ask really anything and if they can answer or help you’ll receive a good feedback that is going to improve your overall experience
Not much, it was really more of a broad overview over the company, so you saw and learned cool stuff but not really applicable in university
The Company
It was quite well structured, though we went to Edinburgh to see the Eagle Labs to do and activity that we could have done in the exact same way in Glasgow. It didn’t really add anything special to be there
Employees were all very friendly and willing so there was this general positive atmosphere throughout the whole week
Don’t really think that they could have done much more in one week
Very helpful getting insights and opinions from employees at various stage of their career really gives you a good overview of what working there would mean
A lot, company culture and values were stressed over and over during the week
They gave us all the possible information to have an idea of what career can look like for different roles and path you may choose
Everything Else
We had two networking events, the first one with seniors and mid level employees and the other one with graduates both very helpful. Moreover we had two shadowing session where we could ask literally everything we wanted and have good overview on the working environment

Yes especially talking with graduates, they shared some activities they get involved in
Yes I would, though it is very tiring and intense you really get to be exposed to how a big company does thing and what working for them could look like
