About You
A very good insight into the company, given in a friendly informed manner.
Everyone was polite and friendly and willing to help.
There were always people around to ask questions to and we were kept well informed of what the agenda was.
It helped me to look at directions to aim for in my career and a little later, as well as some interview guidence, but as it was only a week there was not too much opportunity to develop any new skills.
The Company
They had a plan for everyday of the week from the start, sometimes it changed due to unforseen events and timings were not perfect, but this didn't bother me.
High energy, and friendly, a great atmosphere to gain an insight of the company in.
We had a few sessions on working with people, interviews and CV's which was enriching.
Workshadowing was incredibly useful and everyone was very happy to answer any questions I had. As there are so many different roles in the company you cannot get a specialised view of every role, but the running of the company and sectors within it were very well explained.
Meeting so many people from the company really instilled this, as well as visiting the offices. WOrkshadowing was particularly useful.
I am still not entirely decided, but it has definitely helped me gain a strong idea of something I believe I would be interested in and enjoy. I am eager to explore further.
Everything Else
Travel was reimbursed and the majority of the food I ate throughout the week was provided or paid for. Accomodation was also arrnaged and paid for. This was definitely adequate and took the stress out of being able to afford all those things as well as it being in London.
Yes there were two fairly lengthy networking sessions as well as a long period for workshadowing, I believe in the week a good balance was provided.
Well organised and pleasant, again a friendly atmosphere where everyone was more than willing to make conversation.
Only a couple, but the ones I heard sounded very good and like ones I would be interested in.
Most definitely, they made it as little hastle for me as possible and the energy and enthusiasm shown by those running it helped make it an enjoyable experience. I believe it provided a very good insight into the company which was exactly what I hoped for. In addition to this they provided advice for the future and cv's and interviews which was a very appreciated addition.
