  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Not a lot of the information gained will help my actual degree, but it has given me a new sense of motivation towards my degree. I don't think you need any technical skills to undertake the programme and you would be no worse off if you don't come from a finance degree background.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The overall week was structured well. It was an intense week however still enjoyable. However, more information around schedules could've been provided before the spring week. It would've been nice to have the full schedule before we arrived, however the whole schedule was made available on the tuesday after making this clear.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Great atmosphere, a very welcoming and friendly and felt actually important. Didn't feel like they were just checking boxes, I felt valued by everyone I met. Barclays always push their values and say they make up their culture, which may seem exaggerated from the outside but tits very true when you work even for a week within Barclays.
