About You
Very good insight, plenty of information and a range of areas to learn about. The talks were informative and I enjoyed asking questions to the speakers and graduates. I certainly learnt a lot about finance and careers in banking, as well as the range of areas that Barclays looks into.
Very. The company gave a good monetary reward for the week as well as free meals every day. Moreover, the fact that many people were brought in to talk to us, despite their being busy, showed how much Barclays cared about us being informed. However, I would say that the need to choose a business area for the internship by the end of the week was a bit much (though we were given a 1-to-1 session to discuss it).
A lot. The graduates were very helpful. The staff who gave talks were also very responsive to all kinds of questions.
I now know more about what kinds of career to look at. I also feel that I have gained a surprising number of skills for such a short timespan - having so many activities in just a week really gives a lot of opportunity for development.

No big group networking events, since the week was so packed.
No
Certainly, it is very informative and good fun. Though it is intense, this is what I came for.
