    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • It was very enjoyable, intense and insightful. This allowed all of us to learn intensively about the investment bank as well as about which division we would best fit in. I found the case studies, and networking very enjoyable, along will all of the attention that Barclays has given in organising this spring week.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Barclays really value their interns. We could easily tell that they wanted us to suceed and to learn as much as possible. Everybody is very welcoming and will answer as many questions as you may have, which is a very nice feature for a first experience in the financial industry.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • We were constantly supported by Barclays member throughout the activities/ task. We'd be put in smaller groups during the case study which would allow to understand in much more depth the materials presented which is really useful. The recruitment team was always here with us supporting us and providing support whenever needed.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • As it is completely investment bank based, I do not believe that it will help me in my studies as I am not studying finance. However this was not the goal, and it gives you an entire career to look forward to, along with the value of hard-work that is necessary.
