About You
The insight week was very enjoyable and gave a great insight into the banking and markets divisions with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get information.
Learned much more about the industry and what the various roles would entail which should assist me a lot when making career choices in the future.
The Company
We were provided with a schedule at the start of the week detailing different activities throughout the week which was adhered to.
Everyone at Barclays and the other students were extremely friendly and welcoming.
There were many opportunities to speak to employees and people who had previously experienced the internship programme so it was easy to get more information on the roles available.
Everyone was extremely friendly and a real emphasis was placed on the supportive working culture at Barclays.
The programme helped me understand a lot more about the banking industry and has helped me to understand more about why I want to work in the industry.
Everything Else
There were many opportunities including a networking evening and almost every lunch.
Extremely useful and all employees there were extremely approachable and helpful in discussing the company and there jobs.
Definitely would recommend the insight week to others, it was extremely useful to gain an insight into the culture at Barclays bu my also the banking and markets sector in general.
