The Role
I have really enjoyed working at Pendragon this year as I have gained so much experience and industry knowledge. I have been given so many opportunities within the business to help my development and give me confidence.
Very valued. Everyone has been extremely helpful and welcoming. I have been given a few different roles between two teams and feel valued in both. I am able to confidently ask questions and take part in business discussions without feeling out of place.
I have had the full support and guidance of all my managers and supervisors and they have been the ones to push me and help me gain extra skills and responsibilities. Nothing has been too much trouble in relation to helping me solve problems and answering queries.
In the first 6 months I was comfortable. I would have loved to have been busier but even though i was asking for things to do everyday there was little for me to do. After being moved onto two teams it has picked up and has been much better
I would say I have been given a lot of responsibility and have been treated like any other team member. There have been many reports and tasks that i have been given full responsibility for.
Everything I have learnt has been invaluable. The skills I will take away will 100% help me succeed in both my studies and when applying for Grad jobs
The Company
The office is the only downside. It is extremely quiet and although everyone is lovely it is just very dull. There is no atmosphere.
The process was very well organised. in regard to the Undergraduate programme and the training. However, I do think that when I got into the office this wasn't as I had a very limited amount of work and wasn't really like what was described.
100%. Everyone at the training academy are committed to your development and do everything they can to help and assist you along the way. If it wasn't for their support my year could have had a very different outcome.
Subsidised Canteen
Really appealing, as I have been able to see the progression opportunities first hand.
The Culture
N/A I was the only placement student in the office and it was very difficult. I saw other students about once a month for a training day.
I lived at home
I commuted from Sheffield and lived at home.
I am unsure, there is Car Café for if you are interested in Cars? But i am unsure as to if there are any others.
