About You
The most enjoyable aspect and what made M&G's inside different from other insight days was that we had a hands on experience with the trading exercise. It was interactive and It was nice to throw us straight into a mini investment challenge. Furthermore the exercise itself was a good way for us to interact and network as a group which mirrors some group challenges that will occur in the future.
Everyone was respectful and interactive. Everyone's able to express their points of view freely which I felt the panel discussion was very interactive.
We were able to ask questions freely whenever we needed assistance.
The trading exercise definitely trained your team working abilities and how to cope with challenges in a short period of time. Which kind of reflects onto time management as well
The Company
The insight day was really well structured. With many detailed events throughout the day. The only improvement that could possibly be made was the speed networking. That could have been better organised.
Lively and energetic. Everyone was excited by the challenge and the trading exercises
The company invested alot of time on planning a trading exercise to keep things interactive. More of a hand son experience.
The firm did a good job giving a detailed insight on what they do and the different platforms of investment they are in charge with
The company's culture is really accepting and diverse. They don't single out people with finance degrees. And is open to accepting anyone from any degree as long as they feel like they like your personality. They will want you.
I felt like there could be more detailed brochures given out to further explain the job but otherwise was definitely a good introductory.
Everything Else
I was not paid. It was an insight day event in spring.
Yes there was during the speed networking round but was rather hectic due to the amount of people.
The networking event was diverse with staffs of all different expertise and experience. Which was nice to get different aspects from
The panel discussion gave a good detailed explanation of the opportunities after university as well as during university such as placements and internships.
I will certainly reccoment this event as I feel like this insight day certainly stands out from the others majorly due to the hands on activity involved with the trading exercise.
