    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • This event was very well structured and everything ran like clockwork. Everything was planned to the minute, which ensured we could get the most out of our short time at the company.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • It was a relaxed and calm atmosphere. The directors and managers their were very friendly and easy going. The panel discussion and the speaker was also very relaxed, so it didn't really put me of like other s Insight event which would seem very 'corporate' and serious.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company invested in me to a extremely great extent. All travel was paid for, and they brought in high ranking speakers, managers and even directors. The fact that they managed to get these people into the event showed me that they were very serious about this event and that they really wanted us to get the best from it.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The company did a very good in this aspect as well in my opinion. This was because of the panel discussion they did at the end of the day. The 1 hour session allowed us to grill a panel of recent graduates and interns, which gave us a very food idea of what is like working there.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Yes, this company reimbursed me for my travel expenses considering I do not live I London. Furthermore, this served as a further incentive to go to this event and learn about the company. The food provided here during the lunch, and the refreshments provided here was also totally free of charge.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • There was a great networking event at this event which allowed us first year undergraduate students to meet with some of the employees at this company. • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • The company was very liberal in terms of work because they allowed employees to take their work home and do it at home. The company seems to u understand they have a life outside of work so they have lots of holidays and the working hours here are comparatively short compared to other very large companies.

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Yes, i would very well indeed reccomend this insight event to a friend, because it will look good a cv and you can talk about it in interviews. It develops your soft skills and hard skills because of the various trading game sessions that took place throughout the day. The was a very good networking event and presentations that give you very good guidance on the application process.
