About You
Great experience, great employees, great accommodation. Overall a really enjoyable experience. The assessment center was challenging yet not stressful. All staff were friendly and happy to answer any questions. Also great exposure to senior staff who took time out of their busy schedule to have dinner with us.
The fact that we was exposed to so many members of staff and also senior members made me feel important to the company. Plus, talking about future leaders programs and seeing how previous interns and grad scheme participants have climber the corporate ladder gave clear indication of our importance.
Everyone was extremely helpful, even during assessment center support and guidance was great. There was a sense of discussion rather than more formal interview styles.
Practising assessment centres this early will give us confidence and experience for the future. Plus networking with senior members helped break down common barriers in situations where you can sometimes feel slightly inferior.
The Company
Structure was great, with the exception of the assessment centre as there was a slight confusion with timing.
Really enjoyable even throughout assessments and networking which sometimes can be tedious, there was a great atmosphere and all employees seem to give off a vibrant postative attitude towards Unilever as both a corporation and a brand.
We was given informative talks from senior memebers aswell as networking diners. There was teaching in food solutions aswell as the brand challenge which was introduced by a brand manager.
Careers at Unilever was a huge focus of many discussions both formal and informal.
I entered the scheme only really touching on culture from the website and reviews of the company online. However each employee really convayed what it meant to be a Unilever employee and how the culture effects them each day at the office, emphasising how much the company values their well being.
The content has defiantly increased my desire to work for Unilever and I am now looking forward to the result of my assessment centre.
Everything Else
I am currently in the process of sending my reimbursement form.
Many opportunities including both fromal and informal meetings. From diners to talks to bumping into members of staff at the office.
Lots of time to socialise and network.
Yes members discussed gym focussed classes aswell as netball games between staff. Also midday running clubs.
Most definitely, a valuable experience denfinatly worth while.
