Spring Intern Review

I really enjoyed my time at Citi. I got to experience Citi’s inclusive culture and I gained a deep insight into what a career at Citi looks like. I had the opportunity to network with employees at all level and got to hear lots of different perspectives about Citi.

I felt valued during my time. I was asked to attend team meetings. My team made me feel very welcome and were always available to answer any questions I had.

I received a lot of guidance during the week. Having a buddy was very helpful as they were able to answer any questions I had. They also gave me a good insight into what their work was like.

The teamwork skills that I enhanced will help me with the rest of my degree and when I enter the professional workplace.

The insight was very well structured. Being able to work shadow for the majority of the week was very beneficial as I got to experience the work first hand. The networking sessions were the most beneficial part of the week as I could meet with employees from all areas.

The atmosphere was very positive. My team ensured that I felt very welcome and included. The other interns were very supportive and helpful. HR made sure that I had the best experience possible.

I gained a deep insight into the work involved from work shadowing my team. They were able to show me some projects that they were working on and the type of work that is involved.

The culture of Citi was something that was very evident throughout the whole week. Citi has a very inclusive culture and every employee is valued, something which is very important

The content was very helpful as I have become more interested in pursuing this type of career. From seeing the work that the employees in the team do, I find it very interesting and something that I would like to work on in the future.

HR arranged plenty of networking sessions for us. We were able to meet with senior and junior staff which was great because we got to hear lots of different perspectives of life at Citi. There was a Q&A session with previous interns aswell which was very beneficial.

I found the networking events very beneficial I had great exposure to employees at all levels. It was great to be able to ask questions to staff at all levels as it gave me a deeper insight into the company and careers within Citi.

I learned about different charity and volunteering events that employees can get involved with as part of their team. I learned about the skiing trip that is run every year. These events are great as you can make even more connections within Citi

I would definitely recommend this insight to a friend. Citi has a great reputation of supporting students so that they can pursue successful careers. Citi provides so many opportunities to students. The strong emphasis on work shadowing was something which I particularly found helpful and enjoyable.
