Not applicable for the duration of time we were staying. Useful for understanding intern assessment methods.
The Company
Bit of a mix up on the assessment-centre day. Some events ran too late and others too early.
Very engaging and it was easy to make friends and work with colleagues. Was nice to be treated professionally and on the same level as those already on a graduate scheme. Respectful.
Thoughtful consideration of intern needs, concerns and created a welcoming atmosphere.
Was useful as an insight into the functioning of Unilever and the progession paths available, however it did not show what working in individual roles would be like. Potentially a time issue.
Couldn't see individidual teams in the work context, however meeting such a wide variety of employees from graduates to specialists conveyed a sense of community.
I had already decided on a career path.
Everything Else
Was nice meeting employees in a less formal setting at dinner.
Was useful for gaining an insight into the business, however I did not feel networking was the main emphasis.
Shown on-site facilities, however not much depth was gone into.
