About You
An excellent week to get an understanding of the bank and its culture
Everyone starting from the resources team, graduates to the most senior people really cared about us, gave honest answers and tried to give as much information as possible.
The support that I received was amazing. I did not expect it to be so insightful, every and each person was sharing their experience and knowledge which makes the atmosphere really nice.
I received much information about the bank’s structure, products, operation, stuctures of the divisions. It gave a good foundation for my further studies and an understanding banking industry as a whole
The Company
It was amazing that we had an app, which contained our agenda and every information we needed. It made the week well structured, we knew when and what was happening. I feel that they made a good use of the time
During only 5 days, I felt really welcomed, exposed into the culture of the Barclays. Especially work shadowing sessions gave me the feeling of belonging to the community
I feel that they spent so much time preparing everything for us, provided trainig sessions and then gave an opportunity to show what we have learned by doing the presentations and interviews
I fully understood how it might feel like working in the company, because we had an opportunity to communicate with people from different levels and different points of view (seniors, juniors)
I understood the company culture from listening to senior people presentations, work shadowing. It really gave an insight to what culture at Barclays is.
The content was really valuable and informative with guite a lot of details. It helped me to understand each division and my preference.
Everything Else
Yes, we had several events to communicate with a lot of people
It was good that we had quite a few opportunities to network meaning that we could meet a lot of people
Yes, employees mentioned about their extracurricular activities
For sure. Nice opportunity to understand banking industry, meet people and decide about the career.
