About You
I thoroughly enjoyed the Spring Insight at Barclays. I felt it was very beneficial for me as I did not know much about the financial services or group functions within a bank so this has informed me about what it is like to be a part of the Bank.
I felt very valued during this week because I felt that they understood that time was valuable and only filled all session spots with things that were very useful. This allowed for opportunities to ask questions which really aided my understanding of the bank.
There was a lot of guidance and support for the entirety of the week. This was not only from [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions], but also from the graduates and the senior members of the bank during things like networking and panel sessions.
I think the skills I’ve learnt will assist me in my degree for things such as asking questions and understanding will allow me to ask critical questions about the books I study on my degree.
The Company
It was very structured and everything was timed down to a tee. This kept us on a rigid schedule and allowed us to get through questions with the different speakers.
It was very friendly, everyone who attended, both interns and graduates were so friendly and made me feel at ease with the whole process.
The i
It was very valuable, I feel like I have more clarity on what I would like to do.
Everything Else
Yes there were really good networking opportunities with graduates and also directors and managing directors.
They were very informative and helpful. They really helped me expand my network.
Yes which was helpful in understanding work like balance.
Yes definitely would to a friend looking into banking.
