About You
Ive thoroughly enjoyed the programme as the interactive presentations and opportunities to contribute through questions have allowed me to play a part in the week.
Barclays have upheld a standard throughout the week, with high quality services and hospitality making me feel valued. Furthermore, my opinion and questions have always been considered with respect.
A lot of guidance with how to get involved e.g. Networking advice. Limited but insightful advice into how to interview well.
My presentation skills have been enhanced, as well as team working. Also, my confidence within working environment has been furthered through the interactive opportunities.
The Company
Well structured as it allowed me to gain equal insight into all functions, but repetitive as the same structure was used for each.
Warm, welcoming, with other springers always happy to work in teams and help each other. The insight leaders have also been reassuring and informative, I have not felt strained or uncomfortable at all.
Little to no personal training, the insight week provided more information than teaching.
The senior speakers gave insight into this, with career progression in Barclays explained. Also, the Barclays ethos has always been at the forefront of presentations, allowing insight. The last two days at Churchill place have also allowed me to get a feel for the atmosphere.
Valuable as insight talks and shadow sessions allowed me to develop a clear understanding of each function.
Everything Else
Yes, a networking evening and graduate session allowed this. Also, people were always happy to take questions and give out details after talks,
Yes, in my shadow session, I learnt about opportunities to play football.
yes.
