About You
I thoroughly enjoyed the internship, learning the ways Barclays operates and which area of the bank I would be interested in working in.
I felt extremely valued, especially by the people who took the time out of their busy schedules to come and talk about their roles in the bank. I was honoured that the heads of particular divisions e.g.corporate banking took and interstate in us to take the time to talk and explain a bit about their roles.
We had a lots of support and constant guidance from Farid Uddin who was a positive voice throughout the week to guide us in our internship.
I have developed my public speaking skills and confidence when working in a team and sharing ideas which I will take into my degree.
The Company
Very well structured. I enjoyed how each day was dedicated to each area of Barclays International.
Very positive and the Barclays culture shine through the speakers that we heard.
