About You
Enjoyed it to a great extent because it provided me with the exact insightful information to make a decision about the career I wanted to go into. The information that was given was honest and to the point which made our decision easier.
They have a very respectful environment in place. Everyone was treated with the same amount of value.
We met different people from various areas of the bank who all offered guidance as to what their career entails and whether of not it would appeal to us.
In our course we're made to do a number of presentations for each subject and this skill was exercised greatly during this insight week.
The Company
The insight week was well structured because it gave us exposure to all parts of the bank in a limited amount of time. The day to day schedule was stuck to and followed closely.
The general atmosphere was comfortable but at the same time there was always an element of importance in the air because essentially we were preparing ourselves for our future career.
We were allowed to network every day which built up our ability to communicate effectively with our peers and seniors. We were given many tasks with a team to build our interpersonal team work skills.
We were informed by each person we came into contact with about their daily lives, the responsibility they have and the work they perform for the wider industry.
The company culture was revealed to us on the first day and afterwards this idea was reinforced by people we met. Essentially the culture was hard work but people having a great appreciation of the work they do.
Everyday was very insightful because it gave us exposure to honest and insightful information about everyone's career.
Everything Else
There was an opportunity everyday for this where we networked with our peer and seniors.
