About You
I absolutely loved the insight programme. Everyone at L'Oreal is so friendly and made me feel so welcome. I would massively recommend this placement to anyone interested working for a successful, global and super friendly company!
I felt like such a valued member of the supply chain/commercial team. Despite the short duration of the placement I was assigned my own really interesting tasks and projects and I really liked having a high level of responsibility despite being so new to the team.
I was assigned a mentor who was there to introduce me to her team and work and show me what to do and where to go. I was able to ask her any questions I had on the work I was doing or on the company and she was always more than happy to help me out as much as possible.
I have gained skills and attributes that will stay with me through the remainder of my degree. This includes teamwork, communication, analytical skills and many more. Everything that I have learnt will help me into the future massively in everything that I do.
The Company
Very well organised.
Everyone I met was so friendly and it is such an amazing company and atmosphere to work and be a part of!
I was part of a team made up of interns, apprentices and full time employers so I had a major insight into the different roles and responsibilities of each person.
I found that I had a great insight into life in the supply chain team. It has really helped me to decide where I would best fit in and where I would like to aim to work in the future.
Everything Else
Independent of which division each spring insighter was part of everyone had the opportunity to meet people from all departments and get to know other people's work which was really interesting.
I would massively recommend this insight to anyone.
