About You
I loved it!! It helped me decide what I want to do and helped me understand what I am looking for in a company!
I was able to have a say on projects and they actively asked my opinion.
So many amazing talks from people in defferent job roles. Also, if I wanted to talk to someone in a specific role to find out more the person I was shadowing introduced me to someone or organised a meeting with them. I also emailed HR for an introduction to someone in a job role I was interested in and I met with them in the week.
The Company
Amazingly organised by the team! There were so many opportunities to learn about different roles and skills and L'Oreal. There was also a social which was really good to learn about what other people have been doing and to meet other people.
They had talks so we could learn about different roles but we also had talks about skills and how to develop in a professional environment which is applicable to any company or job role.
I learned so much about the culture and it was so much better than I thought. I learned about how collaborative people are and how people can adapt to different jobs.
I found something that I really love and that I want to do and I have found a place where there is opportunities to do so and also try other things.
Everything Else
Travel and lunch is paid for and there are plenty of food options in the staff cafe.
If I wanted to talk to someone then someone would arrange it for me but they also introduced us to people from all over the company.
There was a social for us to get to know all of the other spring insighters but there wasn't networking with all of the company but it could be arranged if you wanted.
There are so many things organised for employees, especially the interns on placement like teams.
Definately! It provides such an insight into working at L'Oreal and the job roles, and it was fun! It was good to meet loads of new people and get involved.
