About You
The presentations as well as the workshops were well done: just enough of each were planned to keep everyone interested till the end of each day. All the staff were very nice and helpful and the networking opportunities were plentiful however the networking event on the first day was a bit cramped.
All the staff were friendly and willing to answer questions. They were very easy to talk to and willing to help in the future. There were also many trainees around and came towards us which made it easier.
All the presentations were relevant and helpful not only for future applications bit as to what the job of a trainee is and what the firm culture is like.
The workshops were helpful for competitions and teamwork which applies to studying and life in general.
The Company
Very well structured, I was never bored and found it easy to stay focused because of the different types of activities and information given.
Everyone was friendly and it was easy to interact with everyone including trainees, graduates and other staff involved.
With partners and trainees taking the time to come talk to use, network presente different things to use it felt like people and the firm were really investing in us.
The networking and presentations by trainees gave me a good insight into what my potential role would could be: this included every day tasks and information about different sectors.
Everyone was very nice, we got a lot of information about pro-bono investment from the firm and the general attitude of staff. The fact that the firm also invests in extracurricular activities through sports teams and diversity with different networks is also very impressive and encouraging. The firm doesn't only look goos on paper it also does in real life.
I was already pretty set on law and going for a training contract so this scheme didn't help me in that aspect however it did re-enforce my belief that I would be right for this role and that my skills fit the required ones to work here and be successful.
Everything Else
There were staff around at all times including lunch as well as at planned networking events. The most helpful for me was being able to talk to trainees in a relaxed environment around lunch: it was easy to talk to them and answered all my questions about the firm and their role

There are sports teams and plenty of networks to get involved with.
Yes. See all responses above.
