About You
The Insight Day was invaluable, a fantastic experience for networking with like-minded individuals and getting to know more about the different service lines EY offer. The event was thoroughly organised and I was greeted with a warm welcome from every member of the EY team I had the opportunity to speak with.
The EY staff member from Transactions Tax who was my group’s table host was very welcoming and easy to talk to. This allowed my table to ask questions throughout the event, which was very useful. The EY table host and team as a whole were very attentive at answering any questions.
The event was very well organised and ran smoothly. The travel arrangements and event details were disclosed well in advance, which made my commute easier. The email communications prior to the event ensured all people participating in the event were well informed about the itinerary, arrangements and general directions to the event location.
The two-day event allowed me to network with a wide range of individuals: from EY women in high positions to like-minded individuals in similar positions to myself. The group presentation was very useful for practicing team-work skills for future assessment centres. The service line presentations in Assurance and Tax were very informative.
The Company
As previously mentioned, the event was well organised and ran smoothly. The agenda was clear from the start for both days: the first being orientated toward service lines and the second focussed more on EY’s company culture, networks and foundations. However, the social event on the Monday evening could have been at a closer location for easier travel.
Everybody involved were very welcoming and easy to approach to ask questions. The mobile phone surveys were great for engaging all individuals at my table to work together and discuss our views. The comfort breaks were great for further networking with EY employees to ask more detailed questions and further contributed towards a relaxed environment.
