The Role
Really enjoyable and informative experience.
No one was too busy to help me, answer my questions and field work my way! Really friendly and supportive.
Really supportive and happy to go out of their way to advise me.
Good balance of interacting, research work, and project work.
None of the work I did was important, just interesting for me to learn from.
Valuable insight into an area of law and what skills are needed to succeed in it.
The Company
Quite a quiet, relaxed atmosphere, did lack the buzz of other offices I have been to but everyone was very pleasant.
The week was well organised, but I did feel more work done as a team would have been helpful for both the vacation schemers and those running the scheme to see how we work in a team.
Gave up valuable time and resources to ensure i was happily occupied and to answer my questions.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I enjoyed my week at Shoosmiths, but decided that early in my career I wanted to work for a city firm not a regional one.
The Culture
In the MK office, socialising is lacking due to most people driving in to work.
Very cheap!
Do not know as we did not try it!
We were taken out to lunch once, and I was also invited along to a birthday meal for a lady from the team i was placed in.
