Insight Day Review

The insight day that I attended was really helpful in the sense that it gave me the opportunity to find out what it is like to work in the finance sector in a company in the frontline. I also found out about the latest trends in the financial sector. The insight was very informative.

I felt that all the employers at the company were very friendly and they gave me detailed explanations of all the questions that I wanted to know. They made me feel very welcome and valued at the company. I feel like a part of a family with them. That is what made my experience special.

I received as much guidance as possible from the company employers. This is what made my experience special. All of my questions were answered with detail, and I especially like the panel discussion part of the day, which gave me a lot of information. Thank you for the great experience.

The contents were quite valuable. I was able to pursue a career path of working in the IBD sector of investment banks after the insight day. There was a lot of knowledge that I learned which helped me with interviews and networking events. I also learned a lot about what I will be asked to do in the IBD sector.

I was not paid or reimbursed for the expenses. This is alright as it is only an insight program and it was only for a day. I did not have to stay in London either as it ended quite early. It was also not on any contract that they have to pay for the expenses.

Yes, there were a lot of these opportunities. During lunch, there was a networking session of around two hours where we talked freely with company employees from different levels. There was also time at the end of every talk to ask questions to the speakers. After the panel discussion, there was also time to interact with the analysts and associates.

The networking and social event opportunities were great. We had a lot of time to talk with company employees from a lot of different levels and they gave us a lot of insight into the culture and workings of the company. We had around two hours of free networking and more after lectures.

This was something that was not touched upon often. The main information and lectures were about the workings of the business and what we have to do during work. However, there wasn't any seminars where the topic was about activities outside work. We did get information about employee's work-life balance, which was not bad.

Yes I would. This is a great opportunity for someone who is thinking of working in the financial sector but has little experience and don't know where to start. By going to this event, you will have the chance to get to know what it's like to work in this kind of company and this will help you a lot in the future. The networks you make can also be of help.
