JP Morgan Spring Week into Finance for Non-Finance Review

I attended the spring week into finance for non-finance. This insight week was one of the most fulfillling experience. In only 5 days, I had the opportunity to meet professionals, to attend classes about the financial products, to develop soft skills and more importantly I received hands-on at JP Morgan.

I felt really valued. During a week, no matter what university you are from or the major you are studying JPM gave me the oppportunity to learn about the financial industry and to meet its employees. I am very grateful for joining this programme and I am going to make the most of it . Moreover, as a woman, I noticed that there was a perfect parity. JP Morgan is also establishing a very inclusive and opened culture which valued a lot minorities. I had the chance to join the organisation for black heritage people whether I don't have a black heritage. It demonstrated how much JPM wants to break the ceiling for minorities and really appreciated it.

During the insight, all the HR team was very receptive and ready to help. Moreover, the programme itself was very well organized and well-rounded, which would explain why we didn't need much support. A planning of the spring week was given on Monday which allowed us to have an overview about the insight activities.

I think that overall the spring was incredibly fulfilling on a personnal and a profesionnal scale. It was eye-opening about the financial industry. Furthermore, I had the chance to attend classes about the financial products and the banking operations. This training was very complete and helped me to understand the financial world. We also add presentations about solf skills "how to create your personnal brand" "how to present successfully" which will be valuable in my degree studies and beyond. I believe all the content that was given during this week will be useful for the future.

The programme was very well-organized and well-rounded. There were at the same time networking opportunities, presentations about the industry, soft skills and knowledge development. There were also group games which were very dynamic and fun. The schedule was busy but time was flying so fast ! I think they succeed in mixing interactions activities and in-class learning perfectly.

The general atmosphere was very enjoyable. Every morning we had breakfast at the offices. It was a very friendly time where I had the chance to meet intern with many different backgrounds. I am very grateful for meeting all of them, I think that we all had a good time together. All the networking events and speaker interventions contributed in creating a good atmosphere. Everyone was kind and so wellcoming ! Moreover, the HR team was very nice and helpful. We could ask them everything and they were doing their best !
