Spring into J.P. Morgan Review

I highly enjoyed the Spring into J.P. Morgan week as I gained insights into different divisions (Wealth & Asset Management, Markets and Investment Banking). In addition, I also met like-minded students from all over the world and got in contact with outstanding J.P. Morgan employees. Therefore, I learnt more about the culture and career opportunities at J.P. Morgan but also about the daily tasks in the different divisions.

I felt valuable during the Spring week

Already from the very beginning, we received weekly updates regarding the Spring week and what we have to prepare (e.g. reading different news). Also during the programme, we got an agenda where all the different presentations were listed.

I appreciated the interview skills session which perfectly prepared me for the future application process. In addition, I highly enjoyed the workshop "Building your Presence and Brand" as well as "Presentation Skills" which are extremely valuable for my future studies but also for my personal growth.

The programme was perfercly structured with a detailed agena we received on the first day.

I experienced a comfortable athmoasphere during the programme as everyone was highly interested in getting to know each other and to learn more about the firm and its divisions. Also J.P. Morgan's employees were friendly and always helpful.

J.P. Morgan organised three workshops which helped me to gain essential skills such as presentation skills or also interview skills. Moreover, I gained insights into new divisions which helped me to expand my existing knowledge.

It helped me to understand the different divisions and what the daily tasks would be. Furthermore, I learnt what personal and academic skills are recquired in order to work there.

Especially the networking opportunities with J.P. Morgan's employees helped me to understand the firm's culture. We had the chance to meet them during an afternoon tea, lunch break or also at a careers fair networking evening.

The programme's content was very helpful as it confirmed my existing interest to work in a specific division. Nevertheless, I also gained insights into other interesting departements which I did not know well before.

The transportation (flight and DLR/Unterground tickets) as well as the food was covered by J.P. Morgan.

Yes, there were plenty of networking opportunities which I highly appreciated.

The networking and social events were hold in a comfortable atmosphere. Besides getting to know students from the firmwide programme, I also met students from the technology and non-finance programme at the welcome event and the farewell lunch. In addition, I had the chance to meet employees at an afternoon tea, during lunch break but also at a networking evening. I appreciated that I could speak to analysts, associates but also seniors from different departements.

On the first day, there was a presentation about Philantrophy and BRG Overview where I learnt more about extracurricular activities at J. P. Morgan.

I would highly recommend the Spring into J.P. Morgan to everyone.
