About You
I very much enjoyed the insight week, for the overall atmosphere enabled me to find answers about my career plans and have approach the banking industry. Additionally, meeting international students and bankers enabled me to learn from others' experiences.
I felt valued during my time at the firm as they kept congratulating us about making it to the insight week and cared for our stay through the whole week.
We received both guidance and support before, during and after the insight. Although the program was not very detailed until the first day, we knew how we should prepare and what were the next steps.
The information received was valuable and will assist me in my career choices for the following year. Although I got to know some vocabulary and banking concepts, I am not sure I will practically use it in my studies.
The Company
The insight was very structured since our schedule was tight and the activities coherent.
The overall atmosphere was very professional and yet relaxed. There was no feeling of competition nor of being constantly assessed.
The company made a great investment in the intern, both financially and in terms of time. The firm made it possible for everyone to join the Spring week despite there financial abilities and many professionals took the time to meet us.
The insight helped us getting to understand what the working atmosphere was and what skills you would need for the different types of jobs.
The insight was extremely helpful in understanding the company culture and figuring out if it suits our personality and expectations.
The insight week helped me answer many questions I had about my career aspirations and I believe that I will use this information for a very long time.
Everything Else
The accommodation, subway tickets and plane tickets were directly paid by the firm. Most of the meals were also provided by the firm.
We had several opportunities of networking and some analysts would even take their time to continue the conversation outside the Spring program.
The networking opportunities and social event were valuable, yet there were few professionals for the number of students.
A whole conference was dedicated to the activities outside of work you can participate in, as a employee of the firm.
I would definitely recommend this insight to a friend since it provides great information and enabled me to meet very inspiring people.
