The Role
The placement was decent but one of the major flaws was that little description on what the role involves was given before you start and at recruitment stage.
Some of the tasks given to interns are essential to the team but it tends to be operational only.
Each intern is given a designated EPM to support them over the year.
It depends on the time of the year as workload tends to be quite seasonal
Quite a few, as you progress, you will be given more responsibility and possibility of owning projects.
Plenty of self-learning resources are available to IBMers and you can access it yourself
The Company
It is very corporate and the culture is rather individualistic, very hierarchical company.
The placement is rather structured with regular reviews and EPM meeting, nonetheless roles tends to be a bit undefined and some might struggle.
Not a lot, there are rather limited training specific to interns and most tend to be career oriented only.
