Intern Review

The week was an excellent insight into the investment banking industry and provided a great overview of all the front and back office divisions which are needed for a top investment bank to function. It was interesting to learn how these divisions worked together and have the opportunity to shadow some individuals.

I would say I felt valued by the company as they put a lot of effort into keeping in contact with you throughout the application process. During the week itself the people at Nomura were always happy to give their time and answer any questions I had on any topic whatsoever.

During the insight week we were lucky to receive a wide variety of insights from all divisions within the bank. During the shadowing sessions we were able to learn more about the nuances and intricacies of different peoples jobs at the firm and this was exceptionally insightful and useful for my development.
