About You
I very much enjoyed the insight scheme. The talks from different people within the company: from a managing director to a diversity and inclusion officer, provided a wide and interesting insight into the values of DLA Piper. The logistics were also well organised, the hotel we stayed at was nice and the food provided was really good. The insight scheme would have been more enjoyable if the group was smaller to allow for richer interactions. Also an opportunity to shadow actual work and also to see more of the building would have been nice.
The fact that an MD came to talk to us made me feel valued.
I really appreciated how the grad recruitment team met us at the hotel- it showed us rather than told us that you cared about our safety and wellbeing.
This will help me decide which firm to choose as I can see that there is a wide range of tones at different firms 9some are more friendly etc.)
The Company
It was well structured- possibly too much time dedicated to q&as however.
It was warm and friendly. The graduate recruitment team were enthusiastic, down to earth and caring. The trainees also all seemed to have a friendly rapport between them which showed me that this would be a friendly place to work.
The diversity workshop was educational and informative. The CV workshop could have been improved to provide more targeted advice.
