About You
Thorough introduction to Fidelity's business areas and the investment management industry, workshops are wonderful, people are friendly, and the stock pitch challenge was the highlight of the week.
Fidelity cares a lot about investing in us to get more skills and knowledge of investment management. Also, it was the first time for many of us to do a stock pitch in a group, it was great to contribute our own skills to the team and we felt our work was valued when receiving comments on our stock pitch.
Various sources of support are available via talking to professionals at the networking session, dropping questions to HR, and during the preparation for the stock pitch challenge, professionals came around to help out.
The soft skills learnt from the workshop such as resilience help a lot when it comes to dealing with pressure. The stock pitch challenge got me a chance to improve and implement my accounting and finance knowledge.
The Company
It is well structured. We got presentations and panels on the first day to get an overview, then we got workshops on soft skills and the stock pitch challenge to learn more about what Fidelity does in a practical way.
Relaxing, fun, interactive, everyone at insight week was keen to learn and professionals were willing to teach.
