The Role
I have had an amazing time on my placement year I have gained invaluable experience and have got a real taste for what it is like the work in industry!
I felt like part of the team from day dot, not just being the "intern" but a full and functioning member of the team
100% support from my team and managers
Days varied however I consistently had things I could be getting on with and some days were manic but that's just how it goes!
I was given a good level of responsibility being accountable for my work at all times
This placement allowed me to put my skills I'd learnt at uni into action and allowed me to learn so many more valuable skills which I may not have learnt at uni.
The Company
Fun but serious and busy when needed
seamless and welcoming from start to finish!
A lot of development and training was available but this had to be self driven
Travel loan
A high chance to be re-employed by the company after graduation
The Culture
There were many opportunities to be involved with other placement students and colleagues however not living in London meant this had some difficulties
Central London socialising does have a price attached but if you're sensible you can get involved!
Living outside of London I didn't have many opportunities for nightlight
Yes if you wanted to such as football teams
