About You
Definitely great to show the tech aspect of working at Deloitte. I imagined it would still be financial/corporate culture, but the tech culture seems very different and it is nice to see a blend of characters.
All the time, both organisers were so friendly and made sure I was always occupied.
Not much guidance was needed as it was really up to you what you make of it.
Definitely a good way to get my foot in the door for Deloitte. Also learned a lot about business culture and how to act in professional environments - very crucial skill
The Company
Very well structured! Not a single minute was wasted or was I bored.
A lot of people who applied were also interested in tech like me. Because it was so busy, it was inevitable the atmosphere would die down near the end when people get tired
It is a two-day programme, what do you expect me to develop in that time?
Very well, met a plethora of people of various sectors, ages, backgrounds. Definitely great to hear various perspectives as not one person can describe what it is like to work at Deloitte.
Very well, I mean this is similar to the previous question.
I thought I would be against working full time at Deloitte, due to the 'high-stress' big four rumours. However, the company shows a lot of flexibility in where/how long I can work etc.
Everything Else
HAven't received money yet but in due course hopefully. They covered all transport
There was a networking dinner where I met lots of people and got to talk to them.
Very good, nice dinner, casual drinks. Flexible on when you could leave. Maybe would have been nicer if it were a standup event as sitting down means you can't move around as much.
Yeah there sees to a big network and community within the company. Like university societies in a way.
Yeah definitely, although during exam season ,a two day programme to learn about this company is worth it.
