The Role
I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement at Disney throughout! I have loved every minute of it, I do not want it to end.
I felt extremely valued by my colleagues, I felt as if I was welcomed instantly to part of the team.
My line managers have been amazing, supporting me on a day to day basis and guiding me with projects I have worked across on the placement.
On average, I have been the perfect level of busy throughout my placement. I have enjoyed times where I have been slightly too busy too. However the last couple of weeks my workload has become a lot quieter which I have found a bit boring but that might be me becoming more efficient at completing day-to-day tasks.
My responsibility throughout my placement has definitely progressed as I have become more experienced and confident in my role. Initially when given tasks to lead by myself I felt like I was thrown in the deep end, but now I am so grateful with the opportunity because being challenged has made me much for confident!
I have gained a wide range of skills which I will definitely take back to university with me as I believe they will be very useful. I feel like I have gained/developed the following skills: - Confidence - Communication - Organisational Skills - Time Management - Critical Thinking - Business Awareness - Cultural Awareness - Presentation Skills
The Company
So much fun! Everyone is always happy to talk but there is also the correct atmosphere to be able to concentrate and get on with work.
Once arriving I feel like my placement has been set up amazingly, however prior to starting receiving my contract took a good few months to arrive after being told I had got the position.
A good level for a year, I have had the opportunity to attend training sessions internally and externally.

I would love to come back and work for Disney after I have finished University, without question! It is definitely a company I would consider working for once I graduate.
The Culture
Yes! So many social events, with over 200 interns it was so easy to make friends. Within my team, regularly we have lunches/drinks/events.
The cost of living, as I lived in London, was super expensive! But the positives of living in London, outweighs the cost.
In Hammersmith, there was a few good pubs/bars for after work but it was super easy to catch the tube more central where there was a wide range of bars/clubs.
There was a few opportunities, I didnt get involved in any as most of them were sport related.
