  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I very much enjoyed the Insight week, it felt great to experience the working environment at this company and be able to learn so much from many interesting people.

    • I did feel very valued by the people there as they took time out of their very busy days to come talk to us.

    • I received a lot of guidance and support from all staff and employees.

    • The information may not be too useful for my degree, but it will be very useful for many jobs and I felt I learnt and developed a lot of good presentation and networking skills.

    • It was very well organised, perhaps more breaks between sessions would have been good.

    • The people were was buzzing with energy and the place had a very friendly vibe.

    • There were lots of training sessions which were extremely useful and I felt very much invested in.

    • It helped me understand the work-life at the company well as I could talk to many employees who were open about sharing their experiences at work.

    • The insight was perfect for experiencing the culture at J.P. Morgan and it was wonderful to feel it first-hand.

    • The rotational structure was most useful and helped me a lot with deciding what I want to do.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • I don't believe I was reimbursed, just for the one journey there and back, perhaps they could pay all travel fees during the week, but it wasn't too much of a hassle.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • There were a few which were great and very useful, however, a few more would have been good.

    • They were very useful and they were a great opportunity to learn and make connections with people.

    • Yes we were told about the charitable initiatives and I even found out that there are sports teams.

    • Yes, I would 100% recommend this insight to anyone who applies to investment banking.
