About You
I very much enjoyed the Insight week, it felt great to experience the working environment at this company and be able to learn so much from many interesting people.
I did feel very valued by the people there as they took time out of their very busy days to come talk to us.
I received a lot of guidance and support from all staff and employees.
The information may not be too useful for my degree, but it will be very useful for many jobs and I felt I learnt and developed a lot of good presentation and networking skills.
The Company
It was very well organised, perhaps more breaks between sessions would have been good.
The people were was buzzing with energy and the place had a very friendly vibe.
There were lots of training sessions which were extremely useful and I felt very much invested in.
It helped me understand the work-life at the company well as I could talk to many employees who were open about sharing their experiences at work.
The insight was perfect for experiencing the culture at J.P. Morgan and it was wonderful to feel it first-hand.
The rotational structure was most useful and helped me a lot with deciding what I want to do.
Everything Else
I don't believe I was reimbursed, just for the one journey there and back, perhaps they could pay all travel fees during the week, but it wasn't too much of a hassle.
There were a few which were great and very useful, however, a few more would have been good.
They were very useful and they were a great opportunity to learn and make connections with people.
Yes we were told about the charitable initiatives and I even found out that there are sports teams.
Yes, I would 100% recommend this insight to anyone who applies to investment banking.
