The Role
The placement was extremely enjoyable meeting lots of different and interesting people.
Very
I received lots of support
my work load varied from day to day but the majority of the time I had tasks to be doing.
I was given more and more responsibility as my placement went on. I was put in positions that the outcome would make a big difference to my teams performance and targets.
My skills developed including staekholder management, communication and professionalism. I am sure this will go on to help during the rest of my time at University and my later career
The Company
The atmosphere was good for the majority of the time but a few times a week there was a really negative outlook which affected the morale, performance and enjoyment.
Very well set up with comprehensive programme
In the first 3 months there was a lot of training but afterwards the training died down to now when you may only have training for half an hour once a month
Company Parties/Events
The progression is clearly laid out at Hays for a long term career with quick progression
The Culture
The social scene was very good and encourage by management. There were events most months put on by the company.
London is really expensive to live in and socialising cost a lot
Plenty of pubs but very expensive
