About You
Very much so. It was very informative and I learnt a lot.
A fair amount, especially as a result of the work shadowing opportunities.
As much as we needed. A member of HR was always present to address any concerns.
The Fitch Learning session at the start of the week was really helpful, especially in terms of developing technical knowledge. The fact that we could take the materials away with us was also very helpful as we'll always have it to revise and refer back to.
The Company
Extremely. The days were always full with talks/ events and everything ran very smoothly.
Lovely. Everyone was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. Also, the other spring interns were all very friendly and helpful and we all got along very well, I will definitely be staying in touch with them.
They organised a 3 hour session with Fitch learning which was purely dedicated to our personal training and development. This was extremely useful.
It gave us a decent idea, especially after speaking to Analysts during the work shadowing opportunities.
Very much, especially after talking with Analysts during the work shadowing opportunities.
It was very valuable. We were spoken to by members of each team within the business, each giving us insight into the different divisions.
Everything Else
Rothschild & Co. covered food expenses throughout the week, up to £30 over the whole week.
Yes. We had welcome drinks on the first night in order to get to know all of the other interns. We also had a networking lunch and a networking afternoon tea.
They were very relaxed and enjoyable. On top of this, all of the bankers were very happy to answer any questions we had & this meant that they were extremely informative events.
No, unfortunately I don't recall any questions of the sort being asked/ answered.
Yes 100%. It was very enjoyable & relaxed and you also get to learn a lot. On top of that it is a sure way of deciding whether this career path is for you.
