The Role
I really enjoyed my time at Hays, I feel like the team I was with was so supportive and really helped with my development throughout the year.
I was a full member of my team, and they respected my opinions the same as every other member of the team.
There was lots of support from all the members of my team. Any problem or struggle I had throughout the placement my manager or one of my teammates would be there to support me to ensure the problem was resolved.
Very busy, recruitment is very fast-paced, but it meant that I was never bored!!
The role was pretty autonomous even in a team environment, I was treated as a full member of staff, so I had equal responsibility.
I have learned lots during my time here at Hays. I think I will be very well prepared with my continued studies and when I graduate.
The Company
It was a very friendly environment, always people having a laugh, but also working hard and supporting each other.
Very well organised, they invest a lot of time ensuring that the placement is worth it.
Lots of training on how to be a recruitment consultant at the start. They also have other training sessions throughout the year which are for other skills, which means I am leaving Hays not just with skills related to recruitment.
Flexi Time

Very appealing, I would love to go back.
The Culture
Yes, there is a great social scene. Everyone is at the pub on the other side of the road most Fridays.
Pretty standard for London.
Good.
Lots of opportunities, not just going out for socials to the pub, but also when people from the office ran in the London marathon, people from the office went to support.
