    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I was at TfL for a couple weeks and during my time it was very unsighful and enjoyable. Some of my favourite moments included the amount I learnt and the amazing and kind lovely people that work there. It was so great to be so welcomed even though I was only there for a short period of time.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the moment I had arrived. There wasn’t any points in which i felt unwanted or like an annoyance for being there whilst not officially working for the company. Overall, they treated me so kindly and with open arms.

    4/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I had received a lot of guidance and learned a whole ton of things. Truly would recommend for anyone interested and the company are incredibley supportive no matter who you are or what background you have. When you walk through those doors, you’re supported and guided through everything along the way.

    4/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • It helped me gain real life experience on my studies and helped me gain an understanding between the academic things I have learned and the practical side of the career path. It proved to be extremely useful and most definitely worth it. It has lead me to start creating plan for after my studies are complete.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • It was quite structured and welcoming as far as it could have been. It’s not the most easiest thing to organise but I feel like it was well put together and just overall a great experience to have behind me as I move on and progress from study to working.

    3/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Incrediblely enjoyable. Probably the most fun I have had and definitely confirmed my long term career goals. Everyone I had met was lovely and just kind and friendly. The work wasn’t difficult or overwhelming and just perfect for me. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a career insight.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • 3/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The entire experience has been beneficial to me in order to decide which career to enter upon finishing my studies. Although I was only present for a few weeks in my insight it had been just enough to learn the ins and outs of everyday life at TfL and enough to give me an informed opinion on how full time work looks.

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • It helped me understand the culture of the company massively. Everyone was so open to chat and discuss any queries or concerns I had surface in my head and was answers and assured in a reasonably fast time. It taught me enough on how the company runs and what is the ‘norm’

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • 3/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • This experience was purely a free insightful trip and therefore I was not paid or reimbursed however the skills that I have learned and gained from the overall experience was enough for me and I know that after this and putting my new plan into action I will be grateful for simply the experience

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • 3/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • 3/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • I was not around at the company for long enough to learn about outside activities however they all spoke about plans and such that they participate in outside of company hours as they are all very close with each other. A lovely atmosphere to be in as it feels like it’s friends not just people you work with.

    2/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone else as they have given me just the most amazing few weeks possible and could not have been more helpful. It’s given me a whole new light on my future and the opportunities available for me when I have finished studying my current course.
