Spring Insight Week Review

The Spring Insight Week at Bloomberg was a truly inspiring and enhancing experience. The week is made of theory lesson (regarding not only the financial markets) and practical activities which are able to give you a deep understanding of how the company works. All the staff is extremely helpful and it is ready to answer all your questions.

Throughtout the Week, I felt very valued. I was a bit worried before starting the Spring Week as long as I do not have a strong financial backgrounds. Nevertheless, I was able to understand and to enjoy evert activity and lesson that was organized. Also, the group of students chosen was extremely diversified. We all had different backgrounds and it was very interesting to get to know each other during the Week.

The staff is ready to help at any time and they are willing to answer to all your questions. The support was fantastic not only from the point of view of the staff but also among us (the participants). Everyone was willing to help the others especially if they had a particular expertise on a topic.

The skills developed during the Insight Week are very helpful for my studies and not only. In my opinion, during the week, you not only learn about financial markets and the company but also more interpersonal skills such as how to work in groups, how to approach people with a different background, how to excel as a team...

The Spring Insight Week was very weel organized. The week was pretty packed and we had a lot of interesting and fun activities. However, there was enough space left on the timetable to enjoy some time with the people around you, to talk with them, ask questions...

The general atmosphere was amazing because everyone was helpful and interested in the different activities. We had a lot of questions and each of us had a chance to ask them. It was also very nice to have the possibility to talk with Bloomberg's employees and to have some more helpful insight of their daily job.

The company is investing on you and you can really feel valued during the Insight Week.

The Insight Week was very helpful to understand how it would be top work at Bloomberg as a full time role. We had the possibility to talk with different employees both from Global Data and from Analytics and Sales Department and they showed us what are their main daily activities.

The company culture is very strong and there were plenty of opportunities to came across it. Some employees came to give a talk to us regarding this topic and it was very inspiring to hear their ideas in regard of the company culture. It is also possible to understand the culture just by walking in the Bloomberg's offices. The atmosphere is unique.

It was very helpful because I was able to understand how a full time role would look like at Bloomberg both in Analytics & Sales and Global Data department.

Yes, during the week there were plenty of occasion to network and to meet employees of the company. They have been extremely helpful and open to answer to our questions.

The events were very well organized. The time was wisely chosen in order to give us a good amount of time to ask questions.

I would definetely recommend the Insight week. It is very interesting and inspiring and it gives you new skills not only regarding financial markets but more broadly useful for your carreer path. It is definitely useful even if you do not really have a financial markets background. The week is packed of activities and learning but you still have time to make new friends and enjoy some good time with them. Definitely recommended :)
