The Role
It was a fantastic learning experience, as this is an IMechE accredited scheme and you get to experience different sides of the business.
I feel that my work was greatly appreciated.
All the time, when I got stuck, there was someone to guide me through the issues.
Always busy.
In my second team, all the tasks that I received were individual projects, where I was the only one accountable for my work. So you are given quite a lot of responsibility.
As I wanted to develop CFD skills, this placement contributed massively to my learning progress. It would definitely help me in the future.
The Company
It is generally quite relaxed.
No complains here.
I wish there was more training available, but all the resources that we had were just enough to get you going.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
It is definitely an option.
The Culture
The placement intake group was very engaged and bonded.
Generally the prices are pretty much what you expect, so nothing over expensive.
Rubbish
The young professional committee organized quite a lot of activities this year. Plus that there are always volunteering activities to get involved into.
