About You
I really enjoyed this insight event as EY accommodated us well at the Hilton London throughout the whole 2 days. Moreover, there were EY employees around our desk with our throughout the 2 days which allow us to ask question and network throughout the event. The event was placed at Hilton London, just across the EY office which is convenient to reach.
I felt my time is very valued as I learnt a lot during the 2 days not only about the industry but more about EY, employees from different level came in and gave speeches introducing their division and talking about their career journey. From talking to people, we get to feel what's EY culture is like and the general atmosphere of EY.
Yes! Definitely, as there were at least one current EY employee from different division sitting with us throughout the event, all of them are quite junior so they give a lot of tips and tricks on applying to graduate jobs and what is like to work in EY as a junior member.
There were lots of senior employees came in and talks about their division and their career journey. This helped us to know more information about the industry and help us to know whether the division suits us or not. The event helped us to plan out what career would we like to choose for the future.
The Company
The event is really well organised, seniors from different divisions come and give speeches about the divisions their from. The event covered the majority of divisions in EY. They covered various divisions like financial assurance, technology consulting, human advisory and tax etc. Breaks were given between each session and refreshments was provided between the breaks.
Everyone is very friendly there, there was at least one EY employee present at each table, which you can network and ask any questions to them when you feel needed. And there was a speed networking session which all of the employees are really friendly and supportive, you can network with them and they will answer any questions you have.
The Discover EY Women in Business Insight Programme at EY provides me with the opportunity to network with people working in EY across different level; from junior graduates to seniors like managers, they are all very friendly and supportive. From listening to their career journey, I was able to understand more of what is like to work in EY.
Everything Else
For the Discover EY Women in Business Insight Programme, we were allocated to live in Hilton London which is right across the EY office, near the London Bridge. The accommodation was provided for people that do not live in London or people who needed to travel more than 1.5 hours. They also reimburse travelling cost up to £150

There were plenty of networking opportunities in the Discover EY Women in Business Insight Programme. Firstly, there were at least 1 table host that is a junior level employee that works in the EY with us throughout the 2 days. And EY provides us with a speed networking opportunity on the second day, with employees from various divisions.
Yes, definitely. Attending the Discover EY Women in Business Insight Programme allows me to discover more about EY's culture and its division. Throughout the Discover EY program, I talked to different people in EY working at a different level, this ables me to understand EY more from talking to people work in the industry.
