The Role
It was a great place to test and develop my abilities and knowledge while being productive.
I had all support I needed to dive deeper into challenges and all space required to develop things and ideas on my own.
Every time I had questions and/or was stuck, I would have appropriate guidance to help me get back on track.
I have had a great balance of work and fun in the company.
I have been given space to design and schedule my own project on increasing energy sub metering
Valuable skills learnt, that will help me get higher grades and better career opportunities
The Company
Quiet enough to get on with work easily but also lively and pleasant
The placement had a clear goal but it was flexible on the way to achieve it.
They invested on me to provide a decent solution on energy sub metering
There is a fair opportunity to get an offer for permanent employment
The Culture
All social interactions with fellow placement students and young colleagues were very pleasant. People were very open to interact and share experiences
It is easy to manage save money each month while live and socialize
Not many nightclubs
Meetings and socials were organized by individuals or from higher management offering opportunities to socialize
